Zoe Saldana

Actress Zoe Saldana got her first big screen role as the star of the 2000 film Center Stage.  Saldana would later go on to play Anamaria in 2003's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and Uhura in the 2009 film Star Trek, but it was her role as Nyteri in James Cameron's blockbuster hit Avatar that really kicked open the doors for the beautiful starlet. In 2012, she was controversially cast as the lead in a biopic on Zoe Saldana. Saldana will reprise her role as Uhura in a still untitled Star Trek sequel due in 2012, and is also filming Out of the Furnace starring Christian Bale.
