Tank

Singer/Producer/Songwriter With a stage name inspired by his physique, Tank (born Durrell Babbs) established himself in R&B first as a background singer for Ginuwine and later as a songwriter and producer. Raised in the suburbs of Clinton, MD, he chose a music career over offers to play college football. Tank’s work with Ginuwine was followed by the release of his own album, the gold-selling For of Nature. After writing hits for Dave Hollister, Tank has crafted songs for R&B heavyweights, ranging from Brian McKnight to Jamie Foxx and Charlie Wilson.
