Samuel L. Jackson

Actor Samuel L. Jackson’s storied acting career is amazing study of successful second acts. A Morehouse graduate, Jackson performed in several Off-Broadway productions before landing his breakout role as the manic-drug addled Gator in Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever, which earned him the Best Supporting Actor at the Cannes Film Festival. At the time, Jackson battled his own personal demons with drugs and alcohol but made a clean break from his addictions. He’s emerged as one of Hollywood’s hardest working actors appearing in over 100 films most notably Pulp Fiction, A Time To Kill and the Star Wars prequels. In October 2011, Guinness Book of World Records named him the highest-grossing actor of all-time. The award-winning talent stars in five major films in 2012, including The Samaritan, Django Unchained, The Avengers, Zambezia and Meeting Evil.
