Raekwon

Rapper Corey Woods, aka Raekwon the Chef, is a member of the groundbreaking rap collective Wu-Tang Clan.  He's recognized for peppering his raps with creative slang and for painting vivid scenes with words.  As a solo artist, Raekwon broke through the clatter of Wu members with his critically acclaimed 1995 debut disc, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.  While noteworthy appearances by fellow Wu-Tang member Ghostface Killah gave the disc a familiar Wu feel, Raekwon carried the spirit of his crew into a new dimension of crime rap and drug talk.
