Lloyd

Singer Starting out with the pre-teen pop group N-Toon, New Orleans-born singer Lloyd Polite Jr. endured a less-than-stellar solo stint at Magic Johnson’s MJM label before signing with hitmaker Irv Gotti’s label The Inc. His gold-selling album Street Love blew up thanks to hits like “You” featuring Lil Wayne, and “Get It Shawty.” Lloyd announced he was leaving The Inc. in 2009 but soon relit his shine by singing the hook on the massive Young Money collabo “Bedrock.” His next album, entitled King of Hearts, features 50 Cent on the single “Let’s Get It In.”
