Born in Robbins, Illinois, Keke Palmer’s parents realized her star potential and moved to California to give their daughter a shot in the entertainment world. The 13-year-old’s starring role in the 2006 film Akeelah and the Bee, holding her own opposite screen legends Angela Bassett and Laurence J. Fishburne, solidified her position as one of today’s most talented young stars. With an upcoming album on Interscope Records and a new season of Nickelodeon’s True Jackson V.P., Palmer shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, she produced and starred in the Nick Cinderella film, Rags and lends her voice to Ice Age: Continental Drift. The actress showed her grownup side with her role as Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas in TLC's VH1 biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story and recently made history as the youngest person to snag her own talk show, Just Keke, which premieres June 30 on BET.
