Elijah Cummings

Politician Elijah Cummings is currently the U.S. Representative for Maryland’s 7th congressional district and has served in this capacity since 1996. Prior to this position, he served in the Maryland House of Delegates. Cummings, a Howard University alum, also served on numerous Maryland boards and commissions including the Board of Visitors to the United States Naval Academy and the Elijah Cummings Youth Program in Israel.
