Alfre Woodard

Versatile film, TV and theater actress Alfre Woodard is a multi-Emmy award winner and nominee originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma.  From the iconic 1980s TV show Hill Street Blues to Miss Evers' Boys, Crooklyn and Love and Basketball, Woodard is known for stepping into roles as only a dedicated artist can. The wife and mother of two is also a co-founder of the non-profit organization Artists for a New South Africa.  The Oscar-nominated actress received a BET Awards nomination in 2006 for Best Actress.
